Job Description

As a Data Analyst, the role would focus on analysing data sets to find ways to solve problems relating to a business's customers. A data analyst also communicates this information to management and other stakeholders. This role is defined as with the knowledge and skills to turn raw data into information and insight, which can be used to make business decisions.

  • Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Managing users and user roles.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  • Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Helping develop reports and analysis.
  • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.


  • Candidate must have at least 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including but not limited to V lookup, Pivot tables and Macros
  • Knowledge of MS Access, SQL, Oracle, R and using data visualization software
  • Has experience directly coordinating with C-level Management is preferred
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
  • Exhibits a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; meets new challenges and changes with an open mind; demonstrates commitment to the job; with initiative and can work independently as well as part of the team
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and delegation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Willing to work extended hours, when necessary; particularly during the fiscal year-end earnings process, or for ad hoc requests.
