As a Senior Human Resources Manager, the position is responsible for the overall management of human resources involving company policies, performance management, and learning and development. This person will also handle employee services, industrial relations and personnel administration to ensure a sustainable complement to the company's business operation requirements. It is also part of the role to review, plan, and provide general direction on employee relations programs and activities. The Senior Human Resources Manager also does an adequate review of company rules, regulations, and code of conduct and ensures the implementation of employee training and development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of Human Capital Operations in all Philippine Sites including:
    • Talent Acquisition
    • Employee/Labor Relations
    • Employee Engagement
    • Organization Development
  • Set objectives and metrics for each HR team and track progress
  • Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment while meeting organizational goals
  • Provides support and guidance to HR Practitioners, Management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
  • May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations
  • Recommends best HR practices; reviews policies and practices
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Discuss employees’ career development paths with managers
  • Organize learning and development programs
  • Ensure HR staff addresses employees’ requests and grievances in a timely manner
  • Review the budget for the department and ensure it is being adhered to.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or any related field.
  • Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience in coaching, conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
  • Intermediate-Advanced Microsoft Office skills
